Fundraiser for Living Hope Education
Hey friends, my birthday is almost here, and I’ve been thinking a lot about our teenage daughter, Raquel, who died 5 1/2 years ago. I was by her side while she fought brain cancer for an entire year, and was devastated when we lost her. 😥
I began work with DaysForGirls in her honor, and then ended up starting a school in Pakistan for Christian children, which will also serve some Muslim children. I have a non-profit called Living Hope Educational Enterprises, and we have been providing education to 125 underprivileged children for 2.5 years. 🙌🏼
We were informed a few months ago that the landlord will not renew our lease this summer. 😓 So I have been raising money to purchase land and build a building nearby where these impoverished families live. I’ve raised $32K of the $70K we need for the land, and I have a matching donor for the next 1 week, up to $15K of the remaining $38K. 😅
